The rooms were reasonably large and had amenities like an iron/ironing board, work desk, and television. the location was good and stunning, with Greenstone Helicopters located at a moderate distance from the hotel.

Location: the hotel was close to everything, including Haast Village, restaurants, and cafe for coffee and toasted sandwich. It also was to supermarket etc.

Check-in was uncomplicated and fast. The rooms were spacious. Parking lot with me. It was just on the way.

To speak of a hotel is not the right word. Maximum Motel. The furnishings were rather spartan and not as good as new. Thin walls. When the Asian tour group arrived, it was very loud for a long time.

The room was a decent size with a fridge, and the location of the restaurant was good and stunning, making it quite pleasant here.

It's true, it's very high-pitched for one night, but it's perfectly okay. Parking like in a motel right in front of the door.

Helpful staff and reasonably priced and upgraded place. Variety of options, fine food. Incredibly comfortable stunning location, in a quiet area. Based just next door to buy on the spot shop and hard antlers bar and restaurant. Very pleasant stay, as always.

Clean and spacious room.

Very spacious and clean rooms. However, the interior is a little outdated. Perfectly okay for transit. Very friendly staff, especially at the reception. Great authentic restaurant next door, where locals also dine.

Not hotel standard, but motel. Unfortunately no refrigerator! Bathrooms would have to be renovated.

Conveniently located near Fox Glacier, restaurants, and the township. 🌲 Nice to be close to nature and amenities!

The room is large enough for the family. The petrol station is right at the opposite road.

The bar is located separated from the room building. We have to walk in the rain for the dinner.

It was cozy and comfortable in heavy rain.

It was a bit outside of Franz-Josef-Glacier, but no problem with a car.

The room was elegant and a good size, with 3 bedrooms and a fridge. the location was peaceful and beautiful, within a short walking distance of everything we needed. We enjoyed exploring the interesting area.

That it was only for one night.

The location was in the middle of nowhere, would have preferred to create an itinerary that had us staying in Fox Glacier instead. We ended up doing a dark, foggy drive to Haast, which was rough. We were happy we ate dinner in Fox Glacier, as the only place to eat in Haast was this hotel's bar/restaurant. Hotel did not have a refrigerator, which would have been helpful as we hoped to save on breakfast costs by having cereal and juice in the mornings. Also, the restaurant/reception was not open at 8am when we were ready to leave.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly. The hotel was fine.

It was quite warm the day we arrived but the sand flies were so bad and there are no fly screens or air conditioning. So we had the choice of being eaten alive or being hot. There is nothing in Haast. It's more of a convenient stop over to break up a long drive (harsh but true)
